This can be a tough fight because there will be a slew of enemies to take out. If players keep their eyes peeled, they'll see a 'Bare Knuckle' arcade machine behind the window. In the middle of the 'Old Peer' stage, players will eventually find themselves in front of an old arcade. After everything is collected, just walk through the door, and players will go back to the police precinct. Ultimately, players will find a 'gold star' to pick up. After players finally shut him up, destroy all the objects that are found throughout the area. Players will be transported back to Streets of Rage 2, and they'll be faced against 'Jack', one of the first mini-bosses of the game. Just walk up to the machine with the taser and zap it. Soon, players will see an opened jail cell with an arcade machine clearly sitting in it. As soon as Barney as been fed a "knuckle sandwich," pick up his taser and continue to walk through the level. Try and break him down with jump kicks and special moves, if possible. Once he's by himself, try to keep distance, because he has a pretty good reach with his taser. The best strategy is to take out all of Barney's peers and avoid him as much as possible. He's the toughest of the bunch and he's armed with a taser. Among them, is a specific cop named "Barney". Shortly after breaking out of jail, players will come across a group of cops that'll want them to "kiss concrete". If players manage to beat these bosses, they'll be rewarded a "gold star" which gives them an extra "star move", which are uber-powerful attacks that clear entire screens of enemies. Once a player shocks one of these arcade machines, they'll start fighting the old bosses that were at the end of the classic levels. Chances are a taser will be in one of them. If nothing else, try to bust all the boxes and crates that are around an arcade machine. Players can only find a taser after beating down crooked cops. Whenever a player encounters one of these arcade machines, they will need a taser handy so they can zap it. These are basically a gateway that'll send players "back in time" to fight some of the bosses from the classic games. These machines will have the Streets of Rage international title 'Bare Knuckle', on them.
